Propel Energy Group is a Certified Small Woman Owned Business (MBE), based in Jacksonville Beach, Florida, which specializes in energy efficiency products.

Our clients include many industry leaders from diverse markets, including schools and universities, hospitality, retail, government, and utilities. Through our energy reduction products and consulting services we are able to help our customers reduce their energy consumption and carbon footprint, while improving their energy efficiency.

Bob Scammell, President and Co-Founder is a successful entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience as an executive in both the energy and medical device industries. Since co-founding Propel Energy Group in 2008, Bob has helped transform the company by applying expertise and processes he mastered while leading in sales and technical management at Smart Systems International, USA Technologies and Medtronic, Inc.

Bob has been a speaker at several conferences including EEI, NAMA, and WEEC. In addition, he spoke before the Texas State House of Representatives regarding a statewide bill to reduce the energy consumption in cold drink vending machines; as a result the bill passed.

Earlier in his career Bob proudly served as a member of the United States Navy serving as an Intelligence Specialist at the Pentagon.

Bob earned his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Kansas and holds a technical designs patent for centrifugal cell separation.
